Specialist construction contractor Ardmac presented a Christmas donation of €10,000 to St. Vincent de Paul (SVP), at its Dublin Headquarters.

Commenting on the donation, Ronan Quinn, CEO of Ardmac said, “The Christmas season is about giving, and we could think of no better cause to support than St. Vincent de Paul (SVP). They work tirelessly and behind the scenes in providing care for those who need it most. Christmas can be a tough time for lots of people, individuals or families. Knowing that SVP is there to offer direct assistance and support is something that offers reassurance to those who need help. We have been supporting SVP, a much respected and worthy charity for years, with program such as gifts for the SVP Giving Tree.”

Liam Casey, President of St Vincent de Paul East region said, ” Our goal is to fight poverty in all its forms through practical assistance to people in need. This year our aim is to ensure that no family has an empty Christmas and we are delighted to accept this support from Ardmac to help us achieve that aim. Our volunteers visit and support families and individuals to provide key necessities such as food, clothing, light and heat, accommodation and assistance with education”.
