AQF Medical

AQF Medical are a market leader in the supply of technical foam solutions to medical device companies around the world, which is serviced out of their plants in Ireland and Asia. Their foams are used across a wide range of medical purposes including orthopedic implants, blood filtration and wound care.

Ardmac have a long partnership with AQF Medical. In 2000, Ardmac completed phase one of an ISO 8 cleanroom installation at their Newbridge facility manufacturing formally advanced materials, which was moved to their facility in Navan. This facility is still in use today.

A phase two project in 2019 to design and construct a new ISO 8 cleanroom production space included structural, Architectural, Mechanical and Electrical works across 350m² and was completed in 12 weeks.

In 2020, a further 120m² expansion to their cleanroom production facilities was completed over an 8 week period with a snag free handover completed.

The partnership’s continued success demonstrates the level of detail and collaboration between Ardmac’s site and project managers, together with active participation from the AQF Medical team.
