Hana Windmill Green

Windmill Green is heralded as Manchester’s ‘greenest office building’, the first in Manchester to receive BREEAM outstanding including Wired Score Platinum’ status and prides itself on being ‘Manchester’s most sustainable building’.

Hana is the ‘Flex’ working brand of CBRE and was designed by TP Bennett. Ardmac completed this innovative Cat B project that pushes the boundaries around ‘Flex’ working space and serviced offices. Connectivity, IT and AV were at the heart of the design which also included white noise speakers distributed around the collaboration areas. The three-storey fit-out was designed to the highest of standards and incorporated a blend of bespoke raft ceilings, high tech feature lighting together with bespoke joinery and glazed meeting rooms that in some cases met the high acoustic rating (Rw 52dB). The existing soffits were sprayed with a Sonos acoustic treatment before the exposed services were installed.
