Hyperscale Company – Schiphol

Ardmac were involved in the refurbishment of more than 9,000 square metres of existing buildings by our client in Schiphol, Amsterdam, to create a multi-phase, 50+ megawatt data centre co-location facility over a period of two years.

This ongoing project will see Ardmac install hot and cold aisle containment units, suspended structural ceiling systems, raised access floors, internal partitioning systems, doors and ironmongery, fire-stopping packages, and a security package. BIM is being used during the design and construction phases to aid the coordination and construction processes.

Careful design of a modular, hot aisle containment solution is crucial to the success of this installation, along with seamless integration with existing mechanical and electrical services installed ahead of Ardmac’s involvement.
