Ardmac was awarded the Cat A refurbishment of the ground floor level of Building 2 including the atrium area and lift lobby areas. The client wanted to transform an underutilised atrium space that housed various retail units and was used only as a cut-through for pedestrian traffic.

The aim was to create a destination within the building by providing a space for tenants to dwell. Our brief included new glazed curtain walling to the building entrance as well as a new public toilet suite, shower and changing room facilities, a bike storage and a wellness centre.

The works were undertaken whilst DWP were insitu, therefore noise and dust control and H&S were of the utmost importance.
